Makes about 30 bars
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cardamom
1/2 tsp. coarse kosher salt
1 cup chopped almonds
1 (10 oz.) pkg. Miniature marshmallows
6 tbsp. butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. almond extract
3 Tbsp. concentrated cold green tea
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In large bowl, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well.
Then add flour, baking powder, 1/2 tsp. cardamom, and coarse kosher salt and mix until combined. Stir in almonds.
Butter a 13×9″ pan and spread batter in pan for 20-25 minutes until bars are set.
Spread marshmallows over the bars. Place in oven and top broil until golden and melted.
Melt 6 Tbsp. butter in a small heavy skillet over medium low heat. Stir in powdered sugar, cinnamon, almond extract, and green tea, whisking until smooth.
Drizzle glaze over marshmallows. Cool.
Cut into bars.
