Creamy Steel Cut Oats with Berries



1 serving

1/4 cup steel cut oats

3/4 cups skim milk

½ cup of fruit

1 tbsp flaxseed oil

1 tsp maple syrup or honey, agave nectar, other natural sweetener

  1. Put steel cut oats into a small pot with the skim milk and simmer until liquid has absorbed…about 10 minutes.

  2. Top with wild blueberries (PC frozen in this pic), or a mixture of berries.

  3. Add flaxseed oil

  4. 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)

  5. 6 to 12 walnut halves (depending on how many nuts you are going to eat in a day).
